Software project rescue Get a stalled project running again.
Half-built apps, broken deployments and vendors who stopped answering. We get the code building, map what exists and hand you a written plan, then finish the work in milestones you can check on a staging link.
- Build and deploy from a clean machine
- Account and access recovery checklist
- Code and data audit
- Written recovery plan with weekly milestones
- Legacy stack upgrades and migrations
- Documentation for the next developer
Legacy project · Old technologies
The first two weeks of a rescue.
For SMEs in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, in English, Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Melayu. You work directly with the technical lead throughout.
- Days 1–3
Get it running
We get the project building and deploying from a clean machine, and list every account and service it depends on.
- Days 4–10
Map what exists
We map what works, what half-works and what is missing, where the data lives, and talk to the people who use it.
- Days 11–14
A plan you can check
You get a short written plan with weekly milestones, each one demonstrable on a staging link. Then we finish the work on that plan.
How we work
Facts before fixes
Nothing is rewritten in the first days. We get the project building and deploying first, because code you cannot run cannot be judged.
Keep what works
Most stalled projects have parts worth keeping, such as the data model or working integrations. We sort the code into what works, what half-works and what is missing.
Accounts back under your name
We list every account and service the product depends on and help you move anything still registered to the previous vendor.
Progress you can see
After the plan, every milestone is demonstrated on a staging link, so confidence comes from what you can try rather than from status reports.
Project stalled? Tell our technical lead where it stands.
Tell us where it stands →Rescue Projects: common questions
Should we rewrite it from scratch?
Rarely all of it. The first two weeks exist to find out which parts are safe to keep and which genuinely need rewriting.
What do you need from us to start?
Access to the code repository, hosting, database and third-party accounts, plus whatever documentation exists, even if it is out of date.
Can you take over a system on an old stack?
Yes. Where an upgrade or migration is needed, it is planned in stages so the product keeps running for the people who use it.
Do we own the source code?
Yes. At handover you receive the source code, documentation and admin access. Ownership is 100% yours from the first commit.
Who will we talk to?
The technical lead responsible for the work, with a reply within 24 hours. There is no account-manager relay, and we sign an NDA on request.
